Animal-Protection workers say these are the best ways to help STOP PUPPY MILLS!

• DON’T buy a puppy from a pet store
• Choose an animal from a shelter, rescue group or reputable breeder. Visit www.petfinder.org for dogs, even purebreds, available for adoption.
• DON’T buy a dog from a breeder who can’t show you the mother, give you copies of veterinary health clearances from both parents, and prove the pups have been well looked after and socialized in a home environment.
